David Korse

David Korse is the CEO of Abilities Expos, a North American portfolio of exhibitions focused on serving the disability community in each of the regional markets the events serve. The events feature consumer workshops, interactive adaptive activity demonstrations and an opportunity for visitors to experience a wide variety of products and services. The company also owns/manages the website as a free reference for the disability community.

Prior to acquiring the Abilities Expo events with his business partner (Lewis Shomer) in 2008, David spent over 30 years as an international exhibition organizing executive with over 500 events produced around the world.

John Mooney

John began his career at Cahners Publishing Company (Cahners was purchased by Reed Publishing). At Cahners, John led the market research efforts for their New York City division which consisted of over 15 trade magazines as well as R.R. Bowker, a reference publishing company. Later, he was transferred to Newton, MA where he headed-up the research efforts for the company’s largest division which consisted of magazines in design engineer, purchasing, materials handling, electronics, plastics, personal computing and many other industries.

After five years, John was asked to transfer to Reed Exhibition Companies (REC) where he was tasked to build a market research department. His research team worked on consumer automotive, consumer home, hunting and outdoor sports, packaging, personal computing, design engineering, materials handling, food processing, electronic circuit board production, security, hardware, vision, fancy food and others. His last year at REC was spent overseeing the company’s three packaging conferences and trade shows as well as National Manufacturing Week which included design engineering, manufacturing engineering and materials handling.

In June of1994, John launched Hill, Holliday Exhibition Services within Hill, Holliday Advertising. His team immediately secured a management contract for the American Institute of Architects to manage their annual conference and exhibition. Simultaneously, the team launched Primary Medicine Today (Pri-Med). The first Pri-Med was held in September of 1995 at the Hynes Auditorium in Boston with Harvard Medical School developing the course curriculum. The conference attracted over 3600 clinicians and over 25,000 net square feet of exhibit space. Eventually, Pri-Med grew to nearly 70 conferences in the United States, 15 in Europe and 20 in Latin America. Pri-Med sold to Bain Capital in 2004 for a record multiple of EBITDA.

John served as Chairman of the Board of the Society of Independent Show Organizers and was the first recipient of the Robert L. Krakoff Award.  John is a graduate of Boston College.

Anver Silvino Suleiman

Anver has a rich and long history in the training, tradeshow, publishing, media and information industries as a practitioner, entrepreneur, author, teacher, consultant and investment banker.  He is best known for creating winning transactions for sellers and buyers alike with smooth transitions.  Anver’s list of clients is a veritable “who’s who.”  They include (just a small sampling):  American Management Association, Practising Law Institute, McGraw-Hill, Inc. Magazine, Harvard, Battelle Memorial Institute, The FOSE Show, Computer Security Institue, CareerTrack, IIR, ESI, etc., etc. He has spoken at just about every major industry event, authored several hundred articles, and brokered transactions ranging from $5 million to over $100 million.  

As a practitioner and entrepreneur Anver developed over 300 “first time” conferences including:  The First Genetic Engineering Conference, The First Pricing Conference, The First Database Marketing Conference, The First Sports Psychology Conference, The First International Commodities Conference, The First Conference on Strategic Marketing of Seminars, Conferences and Tradeshows, etc.  Anver is a graduate of New York University and is a Certified Management Consultant. Anver is currently the CEO of Luntz, Suleiman & Associates, Inc., and active in buying and selling companies in a wide range of industries.  

Anver and his wife Cindy live on St. Pete Beach and in Hell’s Kitchen in Manhattan and travel back and forth every few weeks. Anver has 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. 

On a personal side, Anver has been the National One-Wall Handball Champion in his age group seven times.  At the age of 75, Anver became a songwriter and won several contests including Top Twenty Country Western in the International Songwriting Contest and was listed in American Songwriter Magazine as one of the 50 most promising songwriters (when he was clearly 2 to 3 times older than the other 49 songwriters).  While not pursuing a career in the music industry, the band “Orleans” recorded his “Been Around The USA” just before the founder and leader Larry Hoppen passed away.
