ConAgra, Chrysalis to Share Secrets Behind Successful Selling Digital-Out-of-Home Media Buys at The Digital Signage Show in Las Vegas
New Session Covers Critical ‘How's and Why's' with Focus on Communicating the Value of DOOH Media Advertising to Brands and Agencies Trumbull, CT - The Digital Signage Show (TDSS), the premier trade show and executive conference for venues, brands, agencies, brand marketers and digital out-of-home networks, today announced the addition of a new educational session allowing attendees to peek behind the curtain and hear exactly what brands and agencies want and need to know about DOOH. In addition to arming attendees with industry knowledge on what factors are most important to buyers in this industry, presenters will educate them on how to communicate exactly when these audiences should include DOOH in their media buys. Gerald Johnson, Vice President of Marketing Communications at ConAgra and Ray Rotolo, Senior Vice President & Managing Director of Chrysalis, the agency behind Schering Plough's recent $10 million DOOH ad buy, will share their insights into how they review, analyze and purchase DOOH media. The session will be led by Pat Hellberg, the architect and leader of the Nike Retail Network, now a 300 door DOOH Network, and current Principal of KAICON Consulting. The session will take place at 3:15 p.m. on May 6, 2009 at The Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. "As Place-Based Media and Digital Out-of-Home Signage Networks continue their rapid growth, advertisers now must ensure DOOH is included in their marketing mix. More importantly, networks must understand exactly what advertisers need to know and be able to communicate this information in a format and terminology advertisers use," said Lawrence Dvorchik, General Manager of The Digital Signage Show. "We are ecstatic that Gerald, Ray and Pat will share their expertise on the DOOH ad buy process with our attendees. Their understanding of what is important, and how it is conveyed, is critical in order to showcase the value of placed-based media for brands and other advertisers." More information on this session can be found at www.thedigitalsignageshow.com/conference.asp. The Digital Signage Show will be co-located with KioskCom Self Service Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from May 6-7, 2009.
